Peres is right. A good reader is a critical reader. Take note of your sources. If you seek to be an aware and informed citizen, it is important to take note that media we are exposed to daily may not be legitimate -- in this case, referring to digital photographs. I suppose one can keep up on reports of cases where once again a doctored photo has coause legal trouble or psychological problems for, say an impressionable young teenage girl, but not all cases are reported, I'm sure. Being aware of this issue is a first step in attempting to discern what you view pictorially is accurate or doctored, or trying to influence your point-of-view of a situation that is not true.
